What is screen printing?

Screen printing starts with your high quality artwork that is separated out into the composite colors for producing a film positive. This method of printmaking then imposes your design on a screen of silk or other fine mesh, with blank areas coated with an impermeable substance, and ink is forced through the mesh onto the printing surface. The printed garment is then heat cured. This method creates high quality printed apparel that can withstand years of washing and wear.

With our quantity pricing and large selection of tees, tanks, sweats, and other casual wear, custom imprinting is a great choice for your company, school, organization, or event.

In addition to t-shirts, we offer a range of merchandise like hats, tote bags and jackets from the finest garment brands on the market — Devon & Jones, Outer Banks, Columbia, American Apparel, Anvil, Fruit of The Loom, Hanes, Jerzees and Gildan.
Prices are based on:

the number of colors in your design
number of print locations
total number of items you are screen printing
We offer up to 6 colors of printing with a minimum order of 1 dozen pieces
You can add your own artwork or have our Graphic Art Department custom design anything for you.
Our team is available to assist in your design as well as to provide a fast, accurate quote for your order.

What is embroidery?

The embroidery process begins with “digitizing” your digital logo. This involves recreating your artwork, essentially by hand, into a stitch file that will serve to instruct the automated embroidery machines what color, where, and what to stitch. This file is then loaded onto the embroidery machine. From there, your blank garment will be prepared to be placed onto the machine. After the garments are done sewing the excess backing is cut away and any threads are trimmed.

Whether your logo needs a little “sprucing up” or you need artwork designed from scratch, our award winning graphic art staff can work with you to turn your idea into a great looking design. Generally, our art charge is $50 per hour. Most jobs usually do not exceed three hours labor. Our staff will send you an electronic proof for your approval.

artwork preparation….

we can work with black and white photographs or illustrations with clear, distinct areas of color as opposed to multiple shades and tones. You can submit images for screen-printing that contain half tones (also known as gradients).

For embroidery,

mages must only contain clear, distinct areas of color. Subtle tones and fades can’t be embroidered.

Please be sure that you have properly prepared the image you’re sending.

The best types of images for our service are vector illustrations created in programs such as Adobe Illustrator and CorelDRAW. These images should be saved or exported and then uploaded in *.eps format. Before saving or exporting as *.eps, please (1) flatten the image, (2) outline fonts, and (3) convert to Pantone or RGB colors.

Raster images, such as those created in Adobe Photoshop and CorelPHOTOPAINT, should be saved or exported as *.gif, *.tif, or *.jpg files. You’re best off using *.gif with a transparent background (if that is, in fact, what you want). Most importantly, such images should be high-resolution. The final product won’t look good unless your image is at least 200 dots per inch (DPI) at the actual size you want it printed. That means that if you want to print a *.gif image at a size of 5″ x 5″ on a T-shirt, it should be about 15″ x 15″ on your 72 DPI computer monitor.

Finally, the filename may not contain spaces. Please be sure to rename the file accordingly before sending.
